You Are My Friend, the original Playtime Collection CD, is a collection of 8 songs about a day’s activities, featuring the child’s name sung in every song for a total of 98 times for the entire album. It’s for children from birth through about age 7. The album begins with a morning wake-up and moves through a day with games and activities, ending with a bedtime or naptime lullaby. Every song is an original by either Chris Davis or Matt Huesmann. Think it’s for children only? My favorite story is the woman who bought one for her daughter graduating from college. The personalization on the label said, “Always remember the wonder of a child. I’m proud of you! Love, Mom.” NOT ONLY IS IT FUN, IT'S ALSO EDUCATIONAL! Younger children will enjoy the music and the beat. Older children will have fun participating in the songs to identify colors, sounds and animals. Moms will especially appreciate the kids learning to clean up their rooms! All of the songs have positive messages and build self-esteem!
You Can Do Anything is the newest CD from the Huesman/Davis Mediak team and is the long-awaited sequel to the original Playtime CD. With all original music, it uses the child’s name an amazing 106 times! It’s as positive sounding as the title suggests and loads of fun! Ya gotta love “Junk Food Flavored Veggies” and “Simon Says” using your child’s name.
