Funshine Music is licensed by Mediak to sell these wonderful CDs, and a royalty is paid for every CD burned. The quality of each Mediak product is a direct result of the incredible talent that has created the music. Each album is carefully planned to meet the needs of a specific target audience. There are five professional vocalists who perform for all of the albums, resulting in a consistent and reliable quality.
We call them the “Dynamic Duo”: Christopher Davis and Matthew Huesmann, who have worked in the Nashville area since 1989 (Chris) and 1991 (Matt). Chris & Matt are responsible for all the Mediak personalized music. As well as their own individual careers as songwriters, arrangers, and producers, together they have produced and arranged many best selling records for children, including the multi-platinum Cedarmont Kids and VeggieTales series. Christopher Davis
Chris began his career writing music for television commercials and film. Some of his credits include:
Kelloggs, Coca Cola, Jeep, Ford, Chrysler, Radio Shack, Kraft, Tonka, K-Mart,
Frito-Lay, Hasbro, Cheerios, Smucker’s, Anheuser-Busch, and Wrigley’s Gum
He has scored music for an ABC Movie of the Week, VeggieTales, The Ford Motor Company, Budweiser, Bridgestone-Firestone, Wendy’s, Cornerstone Animation, and BBC. He has received an Emmy Award, a Grammy nomination and numerous ADDY awards. Chris is a guest lecturer in the MasterCard “Priceless” program for collegiate scholars and is active in many church music programs. He lives in Nashville with his wife and four daughters.
Matthew Huesmann
Matt has written or produced over 20 number one songs on the Christian charts for such artists as Point of Grace, Amy Grant, Avalon, Michael English, Steve Green, Sandi Patty, Scott Krippayne, and the Jesus Soundtrack. He has been nominated for 9 Dove Awards and received the Dove Award for Point of Grace’s The Great Divide. He has led college forums for ASCAP, runs an Internet based music label, and is an avid photographer. He lives in Franklin, Tennessee with his wife, son, and two daughters.
